Background:

SEED is an FCDO funded technical assistance programme. The programme aims to stimulate economic growth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through increased investment, climate resilient and inclusive planning, increased productivity and job creation. As part of our support, we are supporting the KP government in nourishing a culture of evidence-based planning for better public investment decision making. One of our flagship initiatives in this regard is the development of KP Data Portal, where we have developed a robust database powered by a powerful decision-making tool that can provide credible data and analysis needed to make critical investment decisions. The KP Data Portal was formally launched in April 2022 and is now publicly accessible through KP BOS’ website http://kpbos.gov.pk . The website is powered by a strong visualization tool and a database consisting of historic administrative data since 1996. Currently there is data on 1157 indicators across 15 sectors.
